Dr. Veena Verma-Dzik
As a Naturopathic Doctor, I have been trained to take a holistic approach to healing, to find the cause of an ailment and treat that cause. Not only do I look at the symptoms a person is experiencing, but also how they are living their daily lives physically and emotionally. Each person receives personalized, individual treatment involving research-based and scientifically proven alternative medicines, nutritional therapy and emotional support. I love treating children and helping other mothers and women feel good again. I specialize in treating many conditions from fatigue, hormonal imbalances and allergies to digestive disorders, sleep disturbances and concerns children and teens experience. I focus my practice on truly helping my patients achieve physical and mental health and prevent illness. I believe that sometimes making a little change can really have a positive effect on an individual’s health for a lifetime.
All my life I have had a passion in natural remedies. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Biology at Manhattanville College where I completed my degree with my graduating thesis about the Effects of Vitamin C on Skin. I earned my doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine with extensive clinical training from The University of Bridgeport College of Naturopathic Medicine. There I also completed research and my doctoral thesis about How Food Additives Affect ADHD and Autism. I further completed my training in becoming a Certified Medical Acupuncturist and continue to educate myself on the latest tests and treatments.
I live life practicing what I preach and inspiring others to live and enjoy their lives. I have a wonderful family with two children who have greatly influenced my passion to help others. When together, we live in the moment enjoying the outdoors, playing with our dog, and cooking together.
